For more than twenty years, Jeff Steltzer has worked at the intersection of higher education, compliance, and federal regulation. A licensed Georgia attorney and experienced medical school compliance administrator and university research integrity officer, Jeff brings rare insider knowledge to the representation of faculty and licensed professionals facing allegations that threaten their careers, reputations, and licenses.
In addition to his legal practice, Jeff currently serves in a research integrity and compliance role at Georgia State University. He previously held senior compliance and research integrity positions at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Emory University School of Medicine. He brings a rare insider perspective to matters involving university investigations, federal research oversight, and proceedings before the Georgia Composite Medical Board and other licensing boards.
Earlier in his career, Jeff conducted and published academic research, giving him firsthand insight into the realities of the research environment and the professional consequences of Research Misconduct allegations.
