Nate began his legal career as a litigation attorney and obtained extensive experience handling a variety of civil cases throughout Ohio’s state and federal courts. He has successfully briefed and argued multiple cases in Ohio’s appellate courts. His main focus areas to date include creditor’s rights, business, construction, personal injury, insurance, worker’s compensation, and probate law. Nate also gained considerable experience in law school clerking in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas for the Honorable Richard S. Sheward. He is licensed to practice in both the Southern District and Northern District of Ohio.
Outside of the courtroom, Nate is involved in a variety of children’s charities through his time spent on the board of the Mercator Club of Columbus. Nate is also an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association. Attorney Jackson earned his bachelor degree from Miami University (B.S. in business finance, 2003) and his law degree from Capital University (J.D. cum laude, 2008).
